  1. Use Video to Grow Your Business

Can I use video to grow my business?

Yes, this article will give you 30 ways to use video to grow your business.

This post is a continuation of a previous series on how to use video to grow a business. I recently hosted a webinar on the subject. It featured video marketing examples from several brands, and explained how to use video to build a brand, grow a business, and make more money.

In this post, I’ll share some of the best tips from the webinar.

1. Use Video to Grow Your Business

If you make videos, you’ll have access to a powerful marketing tool.

Video can help you:

Attract new customers

Sell more products or services

Build your brand

Create community

Broadcast live events

Earn income from ads and sponsorships

Establish credibility

And more.

The key to using video to grow your business is to focus on the right goals. What do you want to accomplish with your videos?

What is your video strategy?

What kinds of videos make sense for your business?

What will you do with the videos you create?

Once you know the answers to these and other questions, you can create a video marketing strategy that will help you reach your goals.

2. Make Videos That Tell Stories

One of the best ways to use video to grow your business is to create videos that tell stories.

I’m a big fan of storytelling.

People are always on the lookout for stories that will help them understand themselves, their lives, and the world around them.

If you are going to tell a story in a video, you’ll need to make sure it is clear, interesting, and authentic.

Authenticity is key. If you don’t feel it, your viewers won’t buy it.

3. Be Professional

Professionalism is a key ingredient in a video that tells a good story.

Video has the power to create an emotional impact on the minds of your viewers.

But that emotional impact won’t happen if your video looks and sounds unprofessional.

I told the story of how my friend Jeff and I made a video about his book. We made a mistake that prevented the video from being professional.

The video was supposed to be about the book. But Jeff and I got sidetracked showing off our video game collection.

In the end, the video was about our video game collection rather than Jeff’s book.

We learned an important lesson.

If you want to use video to grow your business, you need to create content that is professional.

4. Use Video to Tell a Story

I believe in telling stories.

I believe in storytelling.

And I believe in using video to tell stories.

What kind of stories do you want to tell with your videos?

The stories you tell should be useful to your viewers.

The stories you tell should be about something your viewers care about.

And the stories you tell should tell your viewers something about your business.

5. Include Calls to Action in Your Videos

Video is a powerful marketing tool.

It can help you sell more products and services.

But you need to make sure your viewers know what to do after watching your video.

Include calls to action that are easy to understand and easy to take.

6. Use Video to Build Your Brand

Video is a powerful way to build your brand.

Your brand is the way people perceive you.

If the people who view your videos don’t have a positive view of what your business stands for, you won’t get very far.

So make sure the videos you create build your brand in a positive way.

7. Use Video to Build Community

Video is a great way to build community.

I used video to build community when I started my company.

I created videos that helped people understand what I did and how I could help them.

I also created videos that helped me build community by featuring people who had been helped by my business.

8. Broadcast Live Events

I think video is a great tool for broadcasting live events.

You can create live videos that are watched by people who can’t be there.

You can also create live videos that people watch as they are actually at the event.

9. Use Videos to Share Your Personal Experience

One of the best ways to use video to grow your business is to share your personal experience.

Your experience will help people understand your expertise.

Your experience will help people understand what you do and how you can help them.

And your experience will help people feel they can trust you.

10. Use Video to Make Money

I’m not a huge fan of making money from videos.

But I do believe you can make money from your videos.

The trick is to include calls to action that lead people to a place where they can buy something from you.

I’ve included several calls to action in the videos I’ve created.
